Listed first will be all Basketball Clubs whose main venue has the matching county. Because you may live on the edge of a county we have included all Basketball Clubs that appear in a county that neighbours the one selected.

In the right most column of this page is a short description of what the Club Type abbreviations mean in each of the club profiles.

Clubmark Clubs

Clubmark

Some listed clubs will be marked with the above logo.

Sport-England Basketball England Clubmark is an accreditation scheme aimed at junior clubs.

A club that has achieved Clubmark has evidenced that they meet minimum standards in terms of their playing/coaching program, child protection, equity and club management.


Club Types

Senior Club (EBL)
A club with at least one team that play in the senior National Leagues. The club may also have junior National League teams and local league teams at senior and junior levels.

Junior Club (EBL)
A club with at least one team that play in the junior National Leagues. The club may also have local league teams at senior and junior levels.

Senior Club (LL)
A club with at least one team that play in senior local league competition. The club may also have junior local league team(s).

Junior Club (LL)
A club that only have teams at junior local league level.

BUCS
A club that participates in the British Universities & Colleges Sports (BUCS) championship, i.e. a University or college.

BBL
A club that has a team in the British Basketball League. The club may also enter senior and/or junior National Leagues and senior and/or junior local leagues.
