Basketball England is the national governing body of the sport in England. Our approach to changing the way we service and develop the sport is fully supported by Sport England. We are commencing in our new strategy period 2017-21 and these roles are fundamental to achieving both the positive change and success for the sport over the next 4 years.

Job Title: National Basketball League Disciplinary Officer
Closing Date: Monday 11 September at 9am
Salary: Voluntary (travel expenses covered)
Working Pattern: 2-6 hours per week, depending on volume of disciplinary issues arising – Travel expenses for training will be covered, and occasional travel may be required.
Reports to: Senior Delivery Manager (Game)
Contract: Volunteer Agreement – initial term of one season September 2017 to May 2018
The National Basketball League Disciplinary Officer will oversee Basketball England’s National Basketball League disciplinary processes and manage disciplinary cases, to ensure the effective implementation of Basketball England’s National Basketball League Rules and Regulations. This volunteer role is an opportunity to help uphold the integrity of our National Leagues and competitions through an effective disciplinary function. The National Basketball League disciplinary officer will be a motivated self-starter, who can apply an analytical mind to disciplinary cases, and work these matters through to conclusion through effective decision-making and resolution.
