The British Basketball League Trophy Finals at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena are set to be contested in front of a record crowd for the event of over 6,500 people, as tickets for the showpiece finals at the Scottish venue on Sunday, 20 March are close to selling out.
The Trophy Finals will see the London Lions’ Men’s and Women’s sides looking to retain their titles as Trophy holders. The Women’s team, undefeated throughout the season in domestic action, will face the mighty Sevenoaks Suns in the 1pm Final, before the Men’s team face the Cheshire Phoenix at 3:30pm.
After January’s fantastic Cup Finals event at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham was attended by almost 11,000 people, the Trophy Finals will be the second major event of the British Basketball League season to be witnessed by a record attendance.
