City of Basketball will utilise court regeneration, mass participation, new and existing 3x3 opportunities, local activations and more to grow the sport at a local level like never before.
The programme is a collaboration between Basketball England, Birmingham City Council and Sport England, and will begin this coming in spring 2023.
In the summer of 2022, our incredible Team England athletes claimed historic gold and a silver medals in 3x3 basketball at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. We want to capitalise on that success to continue spreading the sport far and wide, starting with where it all began on Tuesday 2 August 2022.
