Due to lockdown measures and the ongoing Covid-19 situation across the country, this year's meeting will take place online via Zoom.
The AGM will involve approving the minutes from the 78th Annual General Meeting, the Basketball England Annual Report, the organisation's Annual Accounts, plus the appointments of financial auditors for 2020/21.
There will also be new directors to elect to the Basketball England Executive Board. All eligible voting members will be contacted via email with details of this process.
All voting for elected directors will be undertaken electronically through the independent election services organisation, UK Engage who have provided democratic election services in the UK for many years.
Basketball England has taken the decision to use an electronic voting system to aid efficiency and reduce costs within the organisation.
UK Engage will email the voting representative held on BE's database for each club on Wednesday 18 November 2020 with details of the nominations and how to cast your vote.
Each representative will have until 5pm on Tuesday 8 December 2020 to cast their vote.
If you have not received an email to vote and you believe you should have, please contact Victoria.firstname.lastname@example.org before 5pm on Monday 7 December 2020. We will be unable to amend your details after this date.
The results of the election will be announced at the AGM.
Full members are also entitled to vote on resolutions at our AGM on 10th December 2020.
