Played at Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre, the event brought together Basketball England's four 'Super Regions' - North, South, Central and London - which were created in June 2021, for some intense competition . The players wore specially-designed kits for the first time at the event as well, heightening the anticipation for the weekend.
Saturday's pool games took place across four courts, with contests scheduled to take place in six blocks throughout the day, before the top two teams in each category moved on to meet in their respective finals on Sunday.
