Ball Out 3x3 in partnership with Basketball England will feature six qualifying events across the country in June and July, culminating in two days of national finals also held at the popular Finsbury Park courts as part of a huge summer for 3x3 basketball in the UK.
Ball Out will return to the capital, Newcastle, Essex – visiting the spectacular new 3x3 courts at Writtle University College – and Manchester, with a new stop in Nottingham.
The half-court form of the game is set to explode this year as part of a summer bonanza for the sport, with Ball Out leading the way.
The tournament will add to the excitement as the countdown continues towards Team England's aim for glory on the 3x3 courts at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in July and August, with Ball Out chief Julius Joseph coaching England's men.
"We can't wait to get started for another summer of Ball Out. We're expecting intense competition and a lot of fun in what will be an exciting build-up to the Commonwealth Games this summer.
"It's a great chance for players and fans to get a taste for what's to come with Birmingham 2022 just around the corner. With the finals in Finsbury Park falling just after what is hopefully a successful Team England campaign, it will be a perfect way to end a pivotal summer for 3x3 basketball in England."
Basketball England aims to engage one million people in basketball via the Commonwealth Games 2022, 3x3 and more.
