Barking Abbey finished fifth at the Euroleague adidas Next Generation Tournament in Lithuania with head coach James Vear describing it as 'huge for the programme'.
The Londoners wrapped up the Under-18s tournament with a 74-54 win over Umana Reyer Venezia on Sunday.
That gave them a record of two wins and two defeats following their 70-67 opening-day upset victory over Spanish side Joventut Badalona.
Rising star Cameron Hildreth had 21 points and nine assists, following his 35-point showing against Badalona, to finish top of the tournament the scoring, steals and index ratings.
Head Coach James Vear told Hoopsfix: “It’s been huge for the programme (competing in the ANGT), to get an invite alone was a big deal, but to come here and compete, get two wins, is huge for the programme. A lot of credit needs to go to the players, they were great from start to finish.”
