The funding is aimed at helping organisations in three ways:
The funding is earmarked to be available from May 2021 until February 2022 and follows a highly successful opening round of funding that saw sixty clubs across the country receive vital support in January 2020.
"The additional round of funding from Sport England is a great sign of the commitment to sustaining and supporting organisations across the country, particularly at a grassroots level.
"The past 12 months have been extremely tough for the basketball community and this funding is looking to help organisations who engage with disproportionally affected communities to access physical activity’’
