There's six games in D2M this weekend as the schedule eases off a little compared to recent weeks. The majority of the Southern Conference are all enjoying a welcome break, though Northern leaders Team Newcastle are looking to improve on their current 5-0 record.
In a rematch of last season Division Three Playoff Final, Team Solent Kestrels II and London BC Medelynas lock horns once again on the South coast tomorrow.
Medelynas were victorious last season, taking the showpiece final 80-66 behind an 18 point, 11 rebound from Algirdas Jaras. The London side have also already beaten the Kestrels this season, bagging an 84-70 home win back in mid-October.
If the Kestrels are going to break Medelynas' current hold over them, they'll need to replicate the sort of form that saw them run Conference leaders Essex Rebels close a few weeks ago. Solent lost that game 87-84, with Theodore King dropping 24 points. More of that and the Kestrels will be in with a chance tomorrow.
After a loss to Myerscough last weekend, University of Chester (3-3) play host to Derbyshire Arrows (3-3) in the North West. UoC will be looking to get back to the sort of form that saw them establish a 3-game win streak before that defeat to Myerscough.
Manchester Magic (4-2) are also back in the North West after a win on the road last week, they'll face Bristol Academy Flyers (3-3).
Northern Conference leaders Team Newcastle University (5-0) are the last undefeated team in the standings and they'll put that to the test with a home tie against Derbyshire Spartans (2-3).
The conference's only remaining winless teams are both on the road this week, with Sheffield Hallam University (0-5) heading to Team Birmingham Elite (2-3) as Bristol Hurricanes (0-5) take on Charnwood College Riders (3-2).
