Trayvonn Wright led Leicester Riders to a second treble winning season in a row as he was awarded MVP honours in their 81-60 defeat of London Lions in the BBL Play-Off Final.
Wright scored 11 points and added 13 rebounds and 2 blocks to help the Riders produce a dominant 40 minutes of basketball at The O2.
After the game he spoke highly of his teammates: “We stuck to the game plan and we made the shots we are used to hitting. Everyone did their jobs individually and that always works for a team.”

Leicester Riders Head Coach Rob Paternostro was also thrilled to be bringing the BBL Play-Off trophy back to Leicester.
Speaking after the game, he said: “It was disappointing coming into the game that people weren’t given us the credit of favourites and I could sense at the hotel last night that the players were ready to prove people wrong.
"We are a Championship calibre team and we did it on the defensive end today - to hold them to 60 points and 34% shooting, when they average 87 points a game, just goes to show how important defence is to the guys.”
Tyler Bernardini, Leicester Riders club captain, also shared his views after the buzzer sounded on his final game with the team.
“It was an incredible way to finish the season," said Bernardini.
"We have battled through so much and for this group to be here today, I’m so proud of everyone in the changing room.
"It was our toughness and our grit that got us through the game and to the double treble - it was just a fantastic achievement and it was great to be a part of.”
What a way to bow out! 🏆🏆🏆Congratulations on your career, @BernardiniTyler! 👏#BritishBasketball pic.twitter.com/YyxWdja7lt — BBL (@BBLofficial) May 20, 2018
