Do you want to be part of this great sport and the shaping of its future success? Do you want to be part of a new era for Basketball England and our national youth teams?

Basketball England is the national governing body of the sport in England. We are developing ambitious plans to deliver growth and success across participation and performance in partnership with basketball community and other partners. We are committed to creating the very best conditions for everyone in the sport to thrive and achieve so much more for those playing, competing, volunteering and advocating within the sport.

In this positive change environment for the sport and the organisation, we will be transforming our own practices and raising our own game as custodians and guardians for basketball. The Board of Basketball England started this process with the new CEO recruitment in January 2016 to lead a new more engaging approach in England, backed by a newly appointed Chair and elected Board members to help drive forward this change. Our approach is fully supported by Sport England as our major funder.

*We are now building our performance teams and we are seeking to recruit National Programme staff members for boys/men and girls/women’s U15/U16/U17/U18 England teams. This year as part of the Basketball England and British Basketball Federation recruitment, staff members selected for the men and women’s U16 and U18 England teams will be the England nomination for the Great Britain team for the same age group. A recruitment process after the England appointment will be undertaken with any nominations from Wales and Scotland to become the Great Britain staff member for the European Championships 2017.
