Sam first developed an interest in nutrition when he wanted to improve his own sporting performance. This led him to pursue a career in Performance Nutrition by completing a Sports Science Degree and a Masters Degree in Sports Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University. He also holds Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register Accreditation, International Society of Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) accreditation, and is a UK Anti-Doping Advisor.
Sam has supported elite and amateur athletes, everyday gym goers and individuals who just want to improve their health and body composition. To date, Sam has worked with athletes from a wide range of sports including motorsport, football, rugby, cricket, weightlifting and combat sports.
Using a food-first approach, Sam is passionate about and strongly believes in a scientifically informed and evidence-based approach when working with all clients. Translating often complex scientific research and implementing it in a sustainable and practical manner, while helping people become the best version of themselves is of primary importance to Sam.
