Talent calendar updates: Aspire dates, Home Nations Tournaments

The list below covers Aspire Skills, Inter-Regional Tournaments, Super Region Camps and All-Star Tournaments.

There is also confirmation of the dates and venues of the Home Nations Tournaments at U14 and U17 levels, while, in a new move for 2026, the U15 category of Aspire All-Star 5v5 Tournament will see invitations extended to the national teams of Scotland and Wales.

And there is also information on the next DiSE Progression sessions for Aspire players.

DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) is the two-year Department for Education funded programme, which is a unique sporting qualification designed to meet the needs of student athletes who exhibit the potential to achieve excellence in sport, including basketball.

For basketball, the course is supported by accredited education establishments associated to teams playeing in the EABL and WEABL.

Aspire DiSE Progression sessions

• South: Monday 16 February 2026, ASC Cobham
• North: Thursday 19 February 2026, Huddersfield

Inter-Regional Tournaments

Includes selection/transfer (to 3x3 pathway/Super-Regions):  

• 21/22 February 2026  

Super-Region Camps + Medical & Performance Screening*  

• 25 April - 3 July 2026

Aspire All-Star Tournaments  

• 3x3: 4/5 July 2026  
• 5v5: 10-12 July 2026 - the national teams of Scotland and Wales are invited to take part in the U15 section. 

National team activity

• 5-7 June 26 2026: U14/U15 England selection camp - NBPC, Manchester
• 12-14 June 2026: U17 Home Nations - Play Sport, East Kilbride
• 26-28 June 2026: U14 Home Nations - Archers Arena, Cardiff
