Membership services
Basketball England continues to provide a wide range of services to help leagues, clubs and organisations, as well as individual members, get the most from their basketball and develop our great game.
This covers all levels and abilities across the player, coaching and officiating pathway – from beginners to those aspiring to be involved in international basketball.
How to sign up
Members will be able to register from early July, with registration links shared with individuals directly by their clubs.
Those registering for more than one competition, will need to register for each one individually, although most of the information from the initial registration will already be pre-populated for any subsequent registrations.
The duration of your membership, joining and renewal dates
Since the launch of our PlayHQ membership platform, all memberships now run for 365 days from the date of joining.
If your current membership doesn’t extend beyond the end of the competition you are entering, you will be asked to pay for the following year’s membership, essentially adding 12 months onto your current membership. This is applied across all competitions.
Some examples of this are available through the below PlayHQ support article.
New Supporter Membership
Our new supporter membership tier is designed for clubs to engage off-court members such as fans, followers and the families of players.
It provides an easy-to-register benefits package to add to club membership.
Details of this membership can be found through the link below, with further guidance and training on this area to be shared over the summer.
