Junior Final Fours 2026: Day One winners, recaps & gallery

Six champions will be crowned tomorrow, with Saturday containing some hard fought semi-final action at Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre.

10am games - U16 Girls and U14 Boys

U14 Boys: London Stars 95-69 Richmond Knights - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

London Stars marched into the final with a commanding victory over Richmond Knights off the back of an outstanding 40-point showing from Kajus Visockas.

While he led the way Domas Kaptrimas (19) and Lucas Edwards (14, 8rbs) also made telling contributions. Knights were paced by Danny Oliver and Oliver Sherman, who hit 18 apiece, with the latter also pulling down 10 boards.

U16 Girls: Kingston Lions 75-73 Manchester Mystics - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Kingston Lions punched their ticket to the finals thanks to Ella-Rose Price's killer three-pointer with 44 seconds left on the clock.

The teams had been tied going into the final stages after both had held decent leads - Lions seven and Mystics 11 - at spells in the game.

Price's crucial triple was part of a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double while team-mate Nikita Cornford had 15 and five and Sienna Modesto 12 and six. Elsa Critchley led the Mystics' effort with an outstanding 26 points and 17 rebounds while Tassimy Cassinda had 13 and nine and Tze Nam Tang scored 11.

U16 Girls: Milton Keynes Breakers 57-43 CoLA Southwark Pride - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

A dominant fourth quarter steered Milton Keynes into the U16 Girls final.

The game was finely poised at 37-35 in the Breakers' favour going into the final period, but they took it 20-8 to seal victory and a place in the showpiece game tomorrow.

Sofia Elnur (11), Chantelle Okoli (10, 7rbs), Abimifoluwa Eugene-Ajayi (9, 7rbs) led MK, while Victoria Bodunrin (9, 7rbs), Nia-Jay Bryan-Smith (9, 15rbs) were integral to CoLA's effort.

12pm games - U16 Boys and U14 Girls

U14 Girls: Manchester Mystics vs Solent Kestrels - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Manchester Mystics put in a dominant display to earn their spot in tomorrow's U14 Girls final.

Captain Elsa Critchley's eye-catching double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds was a huge part of their success although Emmanuela Osifo Henry (14, 9rbs) and Olivia Eboigbe (11, 11rbs) did their bit too as the Mystics outpaced their opponents through all four quarters.

Lucy Nwabisi (17) and Brooke Milner (13, 7rbs) led the Kestrels' push.

U16 Boys: Manchester Magic 95-69 London Cavaliers - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Magic joined their Mystics clubmates in achieving finalist status with a resounding win over London Cavaliers.

David Akhidime was their standout with a team-high 26 points to go with five rebounds. He was backed by Camran Hanson (16) and Ege Cakmakkaya (14, 9rbs).

Josiah Bosire-Blair was the mainstay of the Cavs' effort with 30 points and nine boards.

U16 Boys: London Elite 94-84 Sussex Storm - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

London Elite booked their final spot with 10-point win over Sussex Storm.

The game was poised until midway through the third quarter when Elite began to assert themselves, easing themselves into a lead then gradually stretching.

Alex Nicolas had a team-high 24 points, supported by Powel Obadowski (19), while Austin Jakens' 29 was in vain for Storm.

2pm games - U18 Women and U14 Boys

U14 Boys: Milton Keynes Breakers 64-74 Reading Rockets - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Reading Rockets bagged themselves a spot in the U14 Boys' Final with a solid 10-point win over Milton Keynes.

The margin would have been wider if the game had gone to the form of the first three quarters. Rockets went into the final period 56-38 up but, after losing the first three, MK attempted a brave fightback, winning the final stanza 26-18.

It wasn't to be enough though as 29 points and 15 rebounds from Caleb Alozie and 19 from Finn Aumonier steered Reading home. Kashope Nesi-Lawani was MK's top scorer with 16 and Christopher Harmon had 12.

U18 Women: CoLA Southwark Pride 64-48 Wolverhampton SLAM - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

CoLA's U18 women put themselves into yet another final with a comprehensive win over Wolverhampton.

The Midlands team took the final quarter 15-9 but the Londoners had built up an unassailable position by that point, leading 55-33 going into the fourth.

Eva-Grace Yebila (14, 9rbs), Phoebe Kanu (13) and Monife Abidekun (10) lead the way as CoLA got the job done. Gloria Mensio was the SLAM standout with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

U18 Women: Nottingham Wildcats 73-72 Endeavour Ipswich Basketball - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Nottingham edged a dramatic encounter with Ipswich and gained some revenge for their January National Cup Final defeat to the same opponents.

It couldn't have been much closer though; Ipswich's Holly Ensoll missed the first of two last-second shots from the line, as the chance to send the game to overtime slipped away.

Ensoll had made a big contribution with 13 points and the same number of boards as Ipswich battled back from 10 down late in the game. But it was Nottingham's day and reward for continued growth after trips to the Final Fours in the previous two years saw them fall short of reaching the showpiece game.

Tiarna Chambers-Desmond was huge for the Wildcats with 26 and 11 boards, while Ophelia Larder-Lee and Kosi Anyanwu had 10 apiece with the latter grabbing 14 rebounds. Maisie Keyes led Ipswich's push with 26 while Jahveina Whyte had 19, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

4pm games - U18 Men and U14 Girls

U14 Girls: Milton Keynes Breakers 75-62

Sheffield Hatters - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

Milton Keynes grabbed a final spot behind the twin offensive threat of Chloe Crompton (24 points) and Holly Smith-White (22, 10rbs).

The duo pushed the Breakers to a 32-29 half-time lead then helped them widen their advantage in a strong second half.

Hatters captain Grace Roberts led her team with 20 points, while Jameela Schawsmidth contributed 13 points and 15 rebounds. 

U18 Men: London Elite 79-63 Solent Kestrels - LIVE STATS/LIVE STREAM

London Elite were the last team of the day to secure a final spot for tomorrow - but they did it with conviction.

Daniel Olusanya (21, 7rbs) and Ismail Ahmed (19, 5rbs) carried much of the scoring weight for the men from the capital.

Javen Osei-Owusu carried the fight to Elite with 20 points and 12 boards with Richard Radu and Alvin Ben-Uloko hitting 11 each and Radu dishing out nine assists.

CoLA hung on for a nail-biting win to seal a place in the final.

The Londoners had been as many as 16 up and went into the fourth quarter 53-43 ahead before Storm sparked a late fightback and with a last-second two-point effort from Jamaul Mcallister coming agonisingly close to forcing overtime.

CoLA shared the offensive load with Jacob Hannick (13), Andrew Nwokolo (12), Toby Gass (12, 20rbs) and Daniel Banjoko (10) all in double figures. Rashayne Padmore (18, 7rbs) lead the Storm charge with Pavlos Martsoukakis and Joshua Davidson grabbing 11 apiece.
