Ex England Player Dave Hemsley passes away

Dave Hemsley very sadly passed away at the age of 77 on the 6th August after a long battle with Leukaemia. He has lived in France for a number of years since retiring from basketball and his funeral will take place there in the coming days.

Dave Hemsley was a very well-known player and coach from the Derby area. He played for England from school level upwards in the 50s and 60s. He then continued to coach in the area.
