New Basketball England Membership Portal Launches

Basketball England is delighted to announce the launch of our new Membership Portal ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The new portal will reduce administration time and make sure your experience is the best it can be when registering each year.  The new system is fully compliant with all GDPR requirements, and has a number of modern advancements that will make registering with Basketball England quicker and more secure than ever before.

The main difference for the new portal involves individual registrations, rather than having a club secretary or registrar sign up multiple people. This means every individual who wishes to be a Basketball England member will be required to sign on to the membership portal.

To access the new portal, please click the button below:

Here is a quick run down of the information you should be aware of ahead of 2019/20:

  • At present, if you are registering for 2019/20 under more than one role (i.e. a player coach for the same team, or a referee and a table official), the portal is not calculating the correct cost for members who fulfil these multiple roles. Whilst we work to correct this, please register yourself at the highest priced role you undertake, then email [email protected] and we will add on the additional role at no extra cost.

  • Starting next week, we will be changing out opening hours between Monday 5 August and Monday 30 September. From Monday to Friday, we will be open 8:00am – 8:00pm, and on Saturday’s we will be open from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
  • In order to ensure that the new portal provides all members with as much security as possible over their sensitive data, the new system will only accept payments online using debit or credit cards. This is to increase the efficiency of payment collection and make it easier for us to reconcile payments against customer accounts.

  • On Friday 16 August at 6:30pm, we’ll be running a Facebook Live session for our members where we’ll go through the process of registering, adding someone to a club and team and much more whilst fielding questions from members that need help along the way.

  • Drop in sessions are available across the country throughout August should people prefer face-to-face help with registering. The details of those sessions are available via the button at the bottom of this page.

To help all our members register for the 2019/20 season, we also have a range of tools available that can be accessed from the button below. These include step-by-step PDF guides  on how to registering, as well as online tutorial videos for you to watch if you need a helping hand.
