Thames Valley Cavaliers 73 - 66 Team Solent Kestrels

Thames Valley Cavaliers moved to 3-3 as they ended Team Solent Kestrels’ unbeaten run in the league, the last remaining to do so.

The visitors headed into the clash on the top of the table, but Diana Voynova had other ideas, helping her side to victory with game high of 15 points, 13 rebounds and one block, whilst adding four assists.

The hosts went into the final quarter with a healthy 62-46 lead and despite a comeback threat from Kestrels who scored 20 points in the final quarter, went on to claim a 73-66 victory.

Elsewhere in D1W

Anglia Ruskin University took the top spot place again following a 75-60 victory over Bristol Academy Flyers at the SGC College WISE campus, with American Madeline Homoly scoring a game high 29 points to go with 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Flo Ward scored a team high 26 points for Bristol, with three assists.

Ipswich Basketball scored a century to claim a close 100-97 victory over Nottingham Trent University. Ipswich's Harriet Welham scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, game-highs for all three.

Finally, Reading Rockets displayed a dominant performance for a 84-48 win over BA London Lions II, who remain bottom of the table and continue to search for their first win of the season. The Rockets sit fourth in the league, with Candela Hermida Nunez, L.Serrano and Anabel Latorre Ciria scoring 53 between them.
