WATCH - Yung Filly x NBA: What happened when England youngsters gave influencer team a workout

When the NBA challenged Yung Filly to create a basketball team from his influencer mates in 72 hours, Basketball England was on hand to help out.

Filly recruited Harry Pinero, Darkest, Rachel Bada, Adeola, Sharky, Jamaal from Rakusu and dunk king The Royal Guard, aka Joel Henry, to play - and we took England teams, made up of players from Nottingham Academy (episode three) and CoLA players (episode four), to the Regal Court in London to give them a workout.

If he pulled it off, Filly and Co would be heading to Cleveland to take part in the celebrity game at the NBA All Star game.

Basketball England Senior Relationship and Coordination Manager, Laura Doherty, said: “To be able to invite former Jr. NBA players to the iconic Regal to play against YouTubers and influencers they follow day-in, day-out was a lot of fun, not only for the players but for everyone involved. We’re grateful to Filly, the whole gang and the NBA for providing this amazing opportunity."
