NBL Live returns for 2023/24 season to showcase best of Division One action

NBL Live is back to stream National Basketball League Men’s and Women’s Division One action in the 2023/24 season.

Ten regular-season games will be broadcast exclusively on  the Basketball England YouTube channel, with the opening fixture confirmed as Bradford Dragons' trip to Reading Rockers on Sunday (4pm) in D1M.

Live coverage of the National Cup Finals and Playoff Finals is also scheduled.

The selected games will feature professional filming and production, led by respected basketball commentator John Hobbs and a selection of coaches and players as guest analysts.

Hobbs will also share play-by-play duties this season with experienced basketball commentator Niall Gray, the voice of British Basketball League side Surrey Scorchers for six years.

John Hobbs said:

“We look forward to continuing our coverage of NBL Live this season and continuing to grow the sport.

“With more eyes on British basketball than ever, it is a perfect time to continue showcasing this exciting league, its talented teams, and the players that make the National Basketball League for both Men and Women such a joy to watch.”

Gail Richards, Senior Delivery manager League and Competitions, said:

“We are delighted to be able to spotlight the best of the action from the Men’s and Women’s Division One.

“John continues to build the quality of the output each season and help get as many eyes as possible on the action. We’re really looking forward to seeing the teams showcase the league in each of the broadcast games.”

Further NBL Live fixtures will be confirmed as the season progresses.
