WNBL1 preview: 18/19 November - live streams, stats and more

D1W is racing towards the mid-season break, with another six games this weekend.

With Ipswich tasting defeat last time out, that leaves Brent as the only undefeated team, but it's still all to play for across the division in the early going.

We take a look at all of the weekend's games below, with links to live stats and live streams at the bottom of the page.

Endeavour Ipswich Basketball (5-1) vs Brent Bulls (4-0)

Brent's unbeaten start to the season will be put to the test tomorrow as the Bulls travel to face current leaders Endeavour Ipswich Basketball.

An early-season clash between two title favourites is sure to be the choice tie of the weekend, with more than a few storylines already weaving their way into this one.

Ipswich will no doubt be looking for a bounce-back performance after the OT loss to CoLA last weekend, and getting a win against the Bulls would be an impressive way to do it.

Brent have already beaten CoLA to begin their season, along with wins against Bristol, Anglia Ruskin and Manchester, but a road win in Suffolk feels like something few, if any team, will be able to collect in 2023/24.

Harriet Welham's (24.3PPG, 10.8RPG, 5.2APG) battle with Brent's standout Jess Davies (13.0PPG, 12.5RPG) should be a good one, pitting two versatile guards averaging double-doubles on the season head-to-head.

The likes of Judit Fritz (15.0PPG) for Brent and Liv Forster (19.0PPG) and Yazmin Edwards (18.2PPG) for Ipswich only heightens the anticipation for this one, with both teams fielding talented rosters this season.

Can Brent stay unbeaten and hand Ipswich's title challenge another blow, or with coach Drane's side get back on track with a win over their undefeated rivals?

Elsewhere this weekend

There are two other games on Saturday plus a trio on Sunday, splitting the weekend's schedule nicely.

Loughborough Riders (4-3) take a trip to Anglia Ruskin University (3-4) tomorrow, with both teams eyeing a potential spot in the top four by the end of the weekend.

Thames Valley Cavaliers (3-3) had their three-game win streak snapped by Bristol last time out, they'll look to get back to winning ways against basement side Team Solent Kestrels (0-5).

Sunday gets underway with CoLA Southwark Pride (3-2) hosting City of Birmingham Rockets (2-3). Both sides won last weekend, but one teams momentum will have to stop this weekend. With either Brent or Ipswich guaranteed to lose, CoLA would love to add another W to their total up at the top.

Bristol Academy Flyers (2-4) had a rough start to the new campaign but have since responded with back-to-back wins. That modest streak will be put to the test against Reading Rockets (2-3), a side who have now lost three in a row and are trending in the opposite direction.

The weekend closes with a home tie for Manchester Mystics (3-3), who are heading back to their own court after tough road outings in Ipswich and Brent. They'll host a Barking Abbey (3-3) side looking to consolidate their spot in the playoff places.
