BE Awards 2025: Harry Errington Volunteer of the Year
Viktorija Sulcienne is the winner of the 2025 Harry Errington Volunteer of the Year award.
Sulcienne is the perfect example of an outstanding basketball volunteer. No task is ever too small, and no challenge is ever too much.
Whether it is club administration, organising registrations, washing kits, supporting events, welcoming new families, or ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, she approaches every role with professionalism, care and incredible efficiency.
Viktorija has also played a huge role in the success of Basketball Northants and the annual NN3X3 tournament, taking responsibility for administration, publicity, scheduling, registrations, and event organisation.
Her dedication has helped create opportunities for countless young people across the local basketball community.

Basketball England's Participation Programmes and Local Development Manager, Nick Holloway, said:
"My warmest congratulations go to Victoria for adding her name to the recipients of one of BE's most historic awards.
"As a constant presence at club sessions and county activities, helping players, parents, coaches, and volunteers alike, while also balancing a full-time career and supporting her own children through their basketball journeys, Viktorija is rightly being celebrated for her impact in the game.
"Much of the work Viktorija does happens quietly behind the scenes, but her impact is enormous, and without her continued support many of these programmes and events simply would not be possible."
Sulcienne's recognition continues a ten-day period where national recipients of the 2025 Basketball England Awards will be announced, covering work from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Winners from across BE's ten regions were announced across April and May, with those recipients then shortlisted to narrow down the field for each national winner.
Sulcienne and others will be recognised for their achievements over the coming days, leading up to another cohort of selections being celebrated with their "Services to Basketball" awards on Wednesday, 1 July 2026.
