England set for prestigious Jr. NBA Rome trip - rosters, schedule, live scores

Suiting up alongside Italy, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany, England's Jr. NBA select side will head to the Italian capital this weekend as they look to make their mark.

The tournament will include four girls and four boys teams and will be held at the 600 capacity Palafonte Roma venue.

The boys' competition will see England lock horns with hosts Italy, plus Denmark and Netherlands, with Germany replacing the Dutch as the only change for the girls' competition.

Rosters

The competition forms part of the England Talent Programme (ETP), designed to provide players and coaches with opportunities to come together, train and compete against other nations with the aim of exposing English talent to as many different playing styles and conditions as possible prior to potential Great Britain selection.

Speaking about the trip, Basketball England's Head of Talent and Performance Steve Bucknall, said:

"It's exciting to send another cohort of players to a marquee tournament against other top European nations.

"It is always a core aim of our talent activity to expose players to different opportunities, and the prospect of playing in Rome against some of the continent's best players is sure to be a memorable experience.

"I wish both our teams the very best as they represent their country, and we hope they'll make the most of this experience both on and off the court."
