Entries open for Collegiate 3x3 Tournament in Manchester

The one-day event will follow FIBA 3x3 rules and with FIBA 3x3 Event Maker used to run the event, all players will need to create a FIBA 3x3 Player Profile if they haven't got one ahead of the event to gain ranking points.

Six courts will be in action and there will be a dunk and two-point shooting contests.

The tournament winners and runners-up will earn the opportunity to compete in the Academy 3x3 Finals, which will take place on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at the Wildcats Arena, Nottingham.

Coaches are welcome to attend, but no coaching can take place during games.

Tournament rules and how to enter

Player eligibility - all players must be:

• Under 19 and over 16 (the age of each player is taken as at the 1st September of each season)
• Enrolled as a student at the Further Education Institution that they are representing
• Not registered to or have played in Basketball England's EABL or WEABL competition for the 2025-26 season

Any Further Education Institution that fields ineligible players during the event will forfeit all their games.

Further Education Institutions can enter men's and women's teams, with each team comprising four players. The entry fees are £120 per team. Institutions are able to enter more than one team if they wish.

In the event of a team withdrawing from the competition, the following refund policy will apply:

• A full refund will be provided if Basketball England is notified 14 or more days before the competition day.
• A 50% refund will be provided if Basketball England is notified between 7 and 13 days before the competition day.
• No refund will be provided if Basketball England is notified less than 7 days before the competition day.

Further Education Institutions will need to cover their own travel expenses to the event.

Players will need to bring their own lunch and wear basketball kit that represents their Further Education institution.
