Fundraiser of the Year award for London Coaches graduate Fiedorowicz

Fiedorowicz was recognised for his work at the London Basketball Association (LBA), where he successfully led the Young Hoopers programme in Westminster, raising over £68,000 to provide basketball sessions and tournaments for 150 young people aged five-16.

He has also worked with major brands such as Under Armour and British Airways to help them understand the charity’s mission of creating opportunities and meaningful differences to people’s lives in London.  

Hosted at St James’s Palace in November 2025 as part of the SRA’s 90th anniversary celebrations, the awards recognised nine future leaders in the sport sector, each being presented with their trophies by Alliance President, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Truly change lives

“Winning the CSRA Young Fundraiser of the Year award means a lot to me, as it not only recognizes my individual work, but also the collective effort of my team to empower young people through basketball within London,” said Fiedorowicz, who is a project manager at the LBA and leads on the organisation’s academy programme, which helps develop young people through basketball.

“Our programme acts as a driving force for our Crowdfunder campaigns, which raise vital funds for our organisation to run things such as our court-to-corporate initiative, which provides employability opportunities within basketball for young people beyond their playing days. Our work is about using sport as a platform for personal growth, education and development, creating pathways that truly change lives,” he added.

Standout London Coaches Program recruit 

Fiedorowicz was one of the first recruits to join the London Coaches Program (LCP) - the partnership between the NBA, the Mayor of London and Basketball England - back in 2023, where he embarked on a 12-month basketball development, training and coaching opportunity.

A standout candidate, Fiedorowicz has enjoyed a host of experiences via the programme, including being invited to Paris for a Jr. NBA coaches clinic, hosted in the French capital in the build-up to the 2024 NBA Paris Game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets, where he gained insight from elite coaches Dan Geriot (Cleveland), Will Weaver (Brooklyn), Vincent Collet and Cathy Melain (French National Team) and Christophe Denis (Paris Basketball), as well as rubbing shoulders with NBA and WNBA superstars, including Mitchell, Ben Simmons, Lonnie Walker IV, Tristan Thompson and Sabrina Ionescu.
