Ipswich and Copleston forward Ensoll commits to D1 UC Davis

The talented forward has been a WNBL and WEABL standout in 2025/26, continuing a rapid ascent through the game.

Fifth in efficiency for Ipswich in D1W this past season, Ensoll also averaged 7.9PPG, 10.4RPG and 2.3BPG. Her academy season was event more impressive, setting an all-time high for blocks in a season (4.1BPG), whilst leading the WEABL in efficiency to go with 15.3PPG and 16.3RPG.

Her exploits haven't gone unnoticed, with the young forward being heavily recruited by a number of high-performing NCAA D1 programmes before settling on California's UC Davis despite multiple offers from elsewhere.

Speaking about the opportunity, Ensoll said: "After a long and rewarding journey, I am incredibly fortunate and excited to receive an offer that feels like the perfect next step in both my basketball career and my life.

"Every conversation with Coach Gross reinforced how special this programme is, and I quickly fell in love with the culture, and opportunities it offers.

"I want to thank my family, coaches, team-mates, and everyone who has supported me throughout this process. Ipswich has become a huge part of who I am, and I will always be grateful for the people who helped me get to this point. I hope to make everyone proud as I begin this next chapter."
