Largest league for the Filipino-British basketball community affiliates with Basketball England

The non-profit has been uniting the Filipino-British basketball community since 1991 and is the largest and longest-running Filipino basketball league in the UK.  

With six divisions and catering for 35+ teams across a range of ages, KAMPI’s mission is to provide a positive and inclusive basketball environment for its several hundreds of players.

This year KAMPI also launches its women’s division for the first time. 

In 2026, KAMPI is launching its women's division 

BE Club and Volunteer & Volunteers Development Manager Nick Holloway said: 

“We’re excited to have KAMPI join the ranks of BE’s affiliated organisations.  

“Across 35 years, this grassroots organisation has inspired thousands of people through access to local league basketball, as well as helping them to stay and continue to play the game at whatever level is desired. 
 
“There are great benefits that come with being part of the BE family, not least that we can help organisations like KAMPI through supporting with funding bids, administration of leagues and competitions through our HoopsHQ app, access to coaching and officiating courses, and help with governance and safeguarding, player development and pathways.”

KAMPI’s 2026 Super League season tips off on Sunday 26 April at Barking Riverside School, with doors opening at 9:30am and the season opener beginning at 10am.

This summer, the organisation will also celebrate its 35th anniversary with a special All-Star Showcase event, with further details to be announced soon.

A sell-out crowd and vibrant festival atmosphere are anticipated, featuring food and retail vendors.
