NBL D1 Preview (10/11 Jan 2026) - Live Stats, streaming, schedule and more

If the weather does stay away, NBL fans will be treated to a headline clash at the top of Pool A between 10-win outfits Birmingham City University and Worcester Wolves on Friday night.

Sheffield Arrows' trip to Liverpool is another contest to be excited about, whilst Barking Abbey and London Stars will try to keep their Pool B aspirations going against Greenwich and Richmond respectively.

In the list below, a * is for Pool A games, and a + is for Pool B games.

Wolves and BCU serve up Friday night treat

Playoff vibes are in the air for tonight as a contest with plenty of post-season impact takes place between hosts Worcester and visiting BCU.

Tied for top spot in Pool A, the Wolves are looking to avenge a narrow 76-73 road loss in mid-October that would also seal them the head-to-head tiebreaker in the process.

The game can be viewed from the embedded stream below, with a 7:30pm tip.

Liverpool and Andre Gayle (feature image) will be hoping to get one over on top-four rivals Sheffield Arrows, with Manchester Magic (home to Sheffield Sharks II) and St Helens (home to Oxford Hoops) both aiming for the same.

Strugglers Oxford and Teesside are both in double-header action and have a game against a side in the bottom four, providing an opportunity to get themselves back in touch with the pack ahead.

Haves vs have nots in Pool B

Some of Pool B's leading lights have favourable match-ups they'll be hoping to take advantage of this weekend.

Solent will be hoping to own top spot come Saturday night as they host 0-11 London Elite. Top-four candidates London Stars are at home to 3-6 Richmond, and Barking Abbey welcome 3-7 Greenwich Titans.

Whilst all three could spring an upset, there's a more closely-matched affair in store for Sunday as a pair of four-win teams, Cobham and London Lions II, do battle for an opportunity to try and claw themselves back into playoff contention.
