NBL D1 Preview (28 Feb/1 Mar 2026) - Live Stats, streaming, schedule and more

D1M's Pool B could be decided this weekend as the top two go head-to-head, but Pool A remains too close to call.

Solent's trip to Barnet is this weekend's big talking point, with the winner likely to take Pool B's regular-season title, but there's plenty of excitement on offer elsewhere.

Manchester's trip to Myerscough is likely to eliminate one of those side's from Pool A's title race, with Magic also facing a visit from St Helens on Sunday.

Barnet and Solent finally meet again

In what has been a much-anticipated contest since the sides last met in late-November, Barnet and Solent will lock horns once again this weekend.

The Kestrels took that clash on the South coast 82-66, meaning that if the Bulldogs can win and overcome that 16-point deficit, they'll be confirmed as Pool B champs this weekend.

A Solent victory or Barnet winning but failing to secure the tiebreaker will see the title race continue into next weekend.

Barking can take another step towards securing third place as they host London Lions II on Sunday, with CoLA vs Greenwich and Richmond against London Elite making up the rest of Pool B's action.

Pool A looks to the North West

Manchester's trip to Myerscough this weekend is the latest chapter in what has developed into a thrilling title race.

Five teams all remain in the hunt, including the North West duo, with Sheffield Arrows still hoping to join the party at 14-6 and with a winnable clash against 6-13 Cardiff up next.

If Manchester can overcome their local rivals, it remains to be seen how much they'll have in the tank to then see off 10-8 St Helens on Sunday. A slip up in either game would likely end Magic's title hopes.

BCU are without a game, leaving Worcester with the opportunity to bag a vital two points if they can beat 5-15 Leicester Warriors.

The Wolves are in the box seat for the title as things stand, owning the head-to-head tiebreaker with BCU, Myerscough and Sheffield Arrows, with only Manchester avoiding that fate.

That means a Worcester win this weekend and any kind of Manchester slip up would make Worcester huge favourites going into their final game, a road trip to St Helens on Sunday 8 March.
