NBL D1 Preview (3 Jan 2026) – Live stats, streaming, schedule & more 

There are six games on tap, with the Leicester Warriors hosting Manchester Magic, Sheffield Sharks taking on Liverpool and Sheffield Arrows squaring off against Teesside Lions in Pool A. 

Down South in Pool B, there are two London derbies - the London Stars face the London Lions II, and London Elite aim for their first win of the season against CoLA Southwark Pride.  

Meanwhile, there's a top-of-the-table clash as Barking Abbey go up against Solent Kestrels. 

In the list below, a * is for Pool A and a + is for Pool B games. 

Saturday 3 January 2026 – NBL Division One 

3pm – Leicester Warriors vs Manchester Magic – LIVE STATS *

Top four clash in Pool B  

Second-place Barking Abbey (7-2) face third-place Solent Kestrels (7-2) on Saturday in a pivotal battle in Pool B. BA already hold an edge, having beaten the Kestrels 90-71 back in October, so Solent will look to gain a measure of revenge and potentially get the head-to-head.  

Elsewhere, there are two London derbies to start 2026, as London Elite (0-10) continue to search for their first win of the season. They host CoLA (4-6), who will look to bounce back from a heart-breaking loss to Barking just before Christmas. 

London Stars (6-3) return to action as they look to keep up the pace for a top-four spot when they square off against London Lions II (4-4), who are also looking to gain on the leading pack. 

There are three games in Pool A this weekend as Liverpool (7-5) look to cement a Playoff position, when they host the Sheffield Sharks (5-6).  

It's a similar story for Sheffield Arrows (7-4), as they host Teesside Lions (2-10), who, despite being second from bottom, showed glimpses of how dangerous they can be towards the latter stages of the year. 

Two teams just outside the top four, Leicester Warriors (4-7) and Manchester Magic (6-4), will do battle in the third game in Pool A as the Magic look to build momentum ahead of the National Cup final on 25 January.
