NBL D1 Recap (15/16 Nov 2025) - results, stats, streams and more

The Bulldogs still had to see off Pool B's bottom side London Elite, which they did with little fuss, as Barking, Birmingham City University and Sheffield Arrows picked up wins elsewhere.

Standout performances

Worcester got the action going with a bang on Friday night, seeing off Manchester's late heroics to hang on for the first of two wins on the weekend, also tacking on an 83-71 victory over Cardiff on Sunday thanks to a 30-9 opening quarter.

BCU also picked up a pair of wins, overpowering Oxford 97-68 on Saturday before edging Sheffield Sharks II 79-75 despite trailing 58-55 going into the fourth.

Barnet's 101-63 W against London Elite kept them on top of Pool B, making Barking's tense 55-53 road victory against London Lions II even more important as Abbey try to chase down the Bulldogs.

There was plenty of offence in Pool A as St Helens went over the century mark in their 101-61 win over Cardiff, whilst Sheffield Arrows nearly did the same against Leicester, with a 93-59 final score in that one.

Cobham (67-61 vs CoLA) and Richmond (73-65 vs Greenwich) both struck important Pool B wins in their own bids to move up the standings.

What does it mean for the standings? 

Two wins for Pool A's BCU and Worcester mean that the duo have moved six and four points ahead of the chasing pack respectively.

That group is made up of Manchester, Sheffield Arrows and Myerscough, with all three more than able to close the gap if they can win their games in hand.

Barnet (6-0) remain the team to beat in Pool B, literally, as they take their unbeaten streak forward for another week.

Barking are doing their best to keep the pressure on, with a gap starting to form to the likes of Cobham, London Stars, London Lions II and CoLA on six points.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

After collecting Team of the Week honours last time out, Barnet's Sable Cooper (26pts, 7ast, 4stl) was at it again in the Bulldogs' big win over London Elite.

Dante Sofia (17pts, 16reb) was on double-double duty in Liverpool's win over Teesside, as was Patrick Wrencher Jr. (25pts, 11reb) in Oxford's loss to BCU.

Arrows' Hamza Ibrahim (24pts, 18reb, 7ast) and Diogo Soares (14pts, 11reb, 6ast) continue to combine for some ridiculous numbers in Pool A, and Greenwich's Isaac Temilola (21pts, 24reb) was dominant on the glass in the Titans' loss against Richmond.

Sunday's clash between the Sharks II and BCU produced some fine basketball, with Sheffield's Oscar Baldwin (16pts, 14reb, 3blk) and Birmingham's Reiss Faure-Daley (14pts, 8reb, 5ast, 5stl) both putting together strong stat lines.
