NBL D1 Recap (22/23 Nov 2025) - results, stats, streams and more

The Bulldogs had no problem keeping their unbeaten record intact against CoLA, as Solent kept the pressure on behind with a win of their own.

St Helens' victory against BCU was a big one, opening the door to top spot for themselves and a number of other teams from the chasing pack.

In the list below, a * is for Pool A games, and a + is for Pool B games.

Standout performances

St Helens' 92-76 win over Birmingham City University was a big one, bringing the Saints right back into the title mix and opening up top spot for a number of other teams in the process.

That group includes Worcester Wolves, who easily saw off Oxford Hoops 89-63, and Manchester Magic, who used a big second half to get past Teesside Lions 77-61.

Sheffield Arrows continued their good form to beat South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Sharks II 70-59, with Myerscough keeping themselves in the top four conversation as they beat  Liverpool 80-94.

Pool B leaders Barnet show now signs of letting up as they grabbed their seventh win in a row, knocking off CoLA 90-71.

There was drama on the South Coast as Ethan Round's (feature image) dagger three helped Solent edge past Cobham 67-64, and London Stars nabbed their fourth win of the season as they beat Greenwich Titans 109-95 despite 34 points from Isaac Temilola.

What does it mean for the standings? 

BCU's latest defeat takes them to two for the year, opening up the title race to Worcester (8-2), Manchester Magic (6-1), Sheffield Arrows (6-2) and St Helens Saints (5-2).

Myerscough are also in the mix at 6-3, especially since the teams above all have to play each other plenty between now and season's end.

There's no wavering from Barnet in Pool B as they remain unbeaten, though Solent's last-gasp win was important for keeping the heat on the Bulldogs going forward.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Barnet keep on winning, and it's no surprise given the continued level of play from Sable Cooper. His latest 27-point effort downed CoLA and kept the Bulldogs unbeaten in the process.

Worcester's Earl Burgess is another in fine form, adding a 19-point, nine-rebound outing to his string of recent performances.

The battle in the North West between Myerscough's Junior Sanchez (17pts, 10reb) and Liverpool's Andre Gayle (29pts, 6reb) was a good one, as Arrows' Hamza Ibrahim (26pts, 11reb) produced one of his less explosive stat lines of the season, highlighting once again the recent level of his play.

Ethan Round (16pts, 5reb) grabbed the headlines for Solent, but it was Andre Arissol's 23 points that powered the Kestrels in their win over Cobham.

Manchester's Jack Walton (25pts, 5reb, 4ast) also threw his name into the mix for POTW honours, as did Disraeli Lufadeju, after his 24-point, 11-rebound double-double helped St Helens down BCU.
