NBL D1 Recap (29/30 Nov 2025) - results, stats, streams and more

Defeats for Manchester and Worcester means neither could take advantage of BCU's weekend off in Pool A, with Pool B challengers Barking also going down at home to London Stars.

Three of this year's NBL National Cup semi-finalists have also been confirmed, with Oaklands, BCU and Solent all progressing to the final four.

In the list below, a * is for Pool A games, and a + is for Pool B games.

Standout performances

The big result of the weekend was Solent handing Barnet a first loss of the season, with the Kestrels coming out on top 82-66 thanks to a big outing from Greg Durand. Barking Abbey also lost ground in the race at the top of Pool B as they went down 75-61 at home to London Stars.

It was a good weekend for Pool A's Birmingham City University as despite having no D1M contest, BCU profited from losses to rivals Manchester (65-62 against Myerscough) and Worcester (87-79 against Leicester).

Those outcomes also allowed St Helens to take advantage, handing a 70-57 loss to Teesside Lions on Sunday as the Saints continued their push for top spot.

What does it mean for the standings? 

Just four points separates six teams in Pool A, with BCU and Worcester (16pts) sitting just ahead of Myerscough (14pts), Sheffield Arrows, St Helens and Manchester Magic (12pts).

There's a more clear top four in Pool B with Barnet, Solent, London Stars and Barking beginning to pull away from the chasing pack.

2025/26 Playoff Structure

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Twenty four points from Louis Rogerson-Evans and 22-point, 12-rebound double-double from Andre Gayle helped Liverpool see off Oxford Hoops, with Ryan Martin (26pts, 12reb) providing a double-double of his own as the Stars won against Barking Abbey.

Myerscough's Zach Trezvant (16pts, 11reb) followed up his recent EABL Player of the Week nod with a solid outing against Manchester, as Richmond's Khafid Smith (24pts, 7ast) and Jamal Tahraoui (29pts, 7ast) both went off against London Elite.

Greg Durand (22pts, 9reb) was the star man for Solent to get himself in the mix for this week's honours, Leicester duo Malik Legania (27pts, 8reb) and Ashley Ugo (23pts, 8ast) both did the same, and Worcester's Earl Burgess dropped 26 in the loss to the Warriors.

NBL National Cup

Four games took place on Sunday, with a trio of quarter-final games plus the one remaining last 16 clash.

D3's Yorkshire Dragons battled hard against previous winners Manchester Magic, with former D1M standouts Rihards Sulcs and Ricky Fetske coming up just short in the 90-86 defeat.

D2's Oaklands Wolves are 8-0 in Pool B and had no problem seeing off D1 outfit Barking Abbey, winning 82-71 thanks to 17 points from former EABL standout Kane Daley.

Samuel Toluwase's 29-point, 10-rebound double-double ended the hopes of Sussex Storm as BCU swept to a 92-79 win, despite Storm leading by two heading into the final frame.

That just left Solent to follow up their big D1M win on Saturday with further success 24 hours later, beating London Lions II 82-60 off the back of 22 points from Andre Arissol.

Manchester will now play St Helens Saints in a North West derby to complete the semi-final line up, with those SF games set to take place on 21 December 2025.
