• Efficiency
• Stats
• Team and opposition strength
• Periods of influence in the game
• Being on a winning team (exceptional performances from players on losing teams will be considered for TOTW)

Players of the Week

What a debut weekend from Teesside's new signing Mike Hood!

The Coppin State alum made an immediate impact in D1M, dropping a game-high 32 points on Cardiff to secure an 87-75 victory, using that performance to springboard into another win against Sheffield Sharks II 24 hours later.

Displaying his well-rounded skillset to dispatch the Archers, Hood's points went with nine rebounds and seven assists, coughing up just two turnovers in a full 40 minutes of action.

Hitting five triples and going a perfect 9-9 from the stripe to punish eight fouls against, Hood immediately put the rest of D1M on notice that he means business across the second half of the season.

In D1W, Anglia Ruskin's Vicky Gray was a standout at both ends of the court in her side's 66-55 W against Brent.

There was a lot to enjoy about Gray's efforts, starting with 16 points, hitting three triples as part of a solid 42% shooting afternoon.

Seven rebounds and five assists also grabbed the attention, but her 12 total stops (five steals, seven blocks) demonstrated her true two-way ability as the talented guard impacted the game at every opportunity.

D1M Team of the Week

Mike Hood - Teesside Lions (32pts, 9reb, 7ast, 2blk, 36eff)

Ryan Martin - London Stars (19pts, 10reb, 10ast, 6stl, 3blk, 37eff)

Hamza Ibrahim - Sheffield Arrows (27pts, 11reb, 8ast, 3stl, 35eff)

Ethan Round - Solent Kestrels (25pts, 7reb, 5ast, 30eff, 5/8 3PTs)

Disraeli Lufadeju - St Helens Saints (34pts, 4reb, 8ast, 2stl, 41eff, 6/10 3PTs)

Hood anchors the TOTW, and is joined by a pair of standouts from both Pool A and Pool B.

Hood's match-winning debut was all that stood in the way of London Stars' Ryan Martin grabbing POTW honours after his triple-double (plus defensive prowess) downed Richmond Knights.

A high-scoring win for Sheffield Arrows was once again powered by a standout performance from Hamza Ibrahim. A near triple-double on Merseyside kept his eye-catching season on course, with his current 27.0PPG threatening the D1M record books at the halfway stage.

Ethan Round splashed five of his eight three point attempts for a cool 25 points as the Kestrels kept London Elite winless, adding plenty more across the stat sheet for additional value.

That leaves St Helens' Disraeli Lufadeju to round out the five. Another player who was on fire from beyond the arc, the talented guard topped all D1M scorers this weekend to go with eight assists.

D1W Team of the Week

Gray slots straight into the TOTW, and is joined by last week's winner Eva-Grace Yebila.

The only thing keeping the CoLA forward from a repeat win was being on the losing end of Pride's clash in Manchester as her stats with undeniable otherwise.

Janice Monakana did what she has so often done already this season, marshalling the Cavs to a win. Her 25 points were a game-high, notching three triples as part of that total to go with five rebounds and three steals.

Maisie Keyes didn't directly affect the scoreboard much in Ipswich's 75-62 win in Bristol, but her 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals were all team-highs as the guard provided the backbone to her team's latest victory.

That just leaves Manchester's Kizzy Spence to complete the five, with a team-high 23 points that ended up being 11 more than her next closest team mate. Scoring 40% of her side's total, Spence was a big reason the Mystics came out ahead in D1W's battle at the top against CoLA.
