NBL/WNBL Players of the Week - (28/29 Mar 2026)

With just the semi-finals remaining, there won't be a full TOTW selection from here on, but two standouts will still be recognised as POTW winners for the next batch of games on 11/12 April.

Chosen in conjunction with Darren Paul and the FocusHoops team, who assess the best and brightest in D1W, and the BE team, you can have your say on this week's selections and give a shout-out to the players you think deserve one by using the hashtag #NBL2526. Don't forget to tag us!

How it works

Each week, a standout player plus four other worthy selections will be put forward to make the Player and Team Of The Week in both D1M and D1W, paying attention to the following criteria:

• Efficiency
• Stats
• Team and opposition strength
• Periods of influence in the game
• Being on a winning team (exceptional performances from players on losing teams will be considered for TOTW)

Players of the Week

Pool B winners Solent remain in playoff contention, overcoming Birmingham City University 85-70 thanks to a standout performance from Andre Arissol.

The former D1M Defensive Player of the Year snagged a steal alongside his defensive role on the perimeter, but his main output was on the offensive end, dropping a game-high 32 points that included four triples.

Eight assists also led all players, bringing Arissol's team-mates into the action, whilst four rebounds and a game-high +/- of 21 in the 15-point win also highlighted his impact.

Faced with a WNBL National Cup winners Manchester, Tia Freeman and ARU left nothing to chance to they sealed a 69-51 win to survive and advance.

Freeman was in outrageous form, putting together a huge 41 efficiency outing that included 28 points on 11/16 shooting (68%), adding 10 rebounds for the double-double.

Three assists and four steals provided additional value, and her +/- of 28 put her even further ahead of the pack across a great D1W weekend for individual performances.

D1M Team of the Week

Pharroh Gordon - Manchester Magic (24pts, 8reb, 3ast, 28eff)

Earl Burgess - Worcester Wolves (19pts, 13reb, 2ast, 27eff)

Tobi Ojuri - Barnet Bulldogs (23pts, 8reb, 2blk, 28eff)

Arissol slots straight into the side as the POTW, and he's joined by another Pool B standout in Joshua Mendes after he was the main man in Barking's road upset over Pool A #2 seeds Myerscough.

Pharroh Gordon starred off the Manchester bench as the North West side went to Pool B runners-up Barnet and snatched a 106-103 OT win, with Gordon leading all scorers in the process.

Worcester's Earl Burgess added yet another double-double to his season tally, netting 19 points alongside 13 rebounds as the Wolves progressed, and Tobi Ojuri made the five despite the Bulldogs being bounced from the post-season thanks to his impressive shooting, hitting 3/4 from beyond the arc for 23 points off the Barnet bench.

Harriet Welham - Endeavour Ipswich Basketball (24pts, 9reb, 2stl, 23eff)

Maisie Keyes - Endeavour Ipswich Basketball (22pts, 5reb, 3ast, 2stl, 2blk, 21eff)

Adaora Dioramma - CoLA Southwark Pride (15pts, 4reb, 2ast, 15eff)

Freeman anchors the last TOTW of the season and is joined by Chinwe Iwunze, with the Cavs' standout unfortunate not to snag individual honours for a 35 efficiency outing.

Ipswich duo Harriet Welham and Maisie Keyes combined for 46 points to down red-hot Worcester, with the duo representing the top two scorers on either side.

Adaora Dioramma rounds things out, with the CoLA forward producing a game-high 15 points against Brent in just 15:40 of action, shooting 60% (6/10 FGs) in the process.
