Super South International Coaching Conference scheduled for June

• Date: Sunday 14 June 2026 
• Time: 10am-5pm (Coach registration opens at 9am) 

• Venue: Surrey Sports Park, Richard Meyjes Road, Guildford, GU2 7AD

• Fee: £25 for the full day 

• Format: Five comprehensive clinic sessions, alongside dedicated opportunities for networking, collaboration, and coach discussion throughout the day 

Designed to expose coaches to different perspectives on talent development, technical and tactical development, and performance, the conference offers an outstanding professional development opportunity for basketball coaches from across the country. 

Attendees will have the chance to learn from an exciting blend of domestic and international coaches, with the full line-up of clinicians to be announced in the coming weeks. 

The conference will run alongside the Super South Regional Team Training Camp, creating a unique environment that will bring attending coaches and players into close alignment.

Young athletes from across the South region will gain direct access to the clinicians and a range of approaches to enhance their development, skill acquisition, and decision-making. 

Beyond delivering a high-level CPD opportunity, the event also serves an important purpose for the wider basketball community.

All proceeds raised from the conference will go directly towards supporting talented young athletes within the Regional Performance Pathway, helping to reduce financial barriers and provide greater access to elite development opportunities.

"It is also a fantastic opportunity for our young players to learn from coaches with different backgrounds, philosophies, and experiences, gaining exposure to new perspectives on skill development, tactical understanding, and decision-making that will inevitably support their growth as athletes. 

"Events like this are key to raising coaching standards by broadening perspectives, strengthening player development, and ensuring regional talent is supported by a highly-skilled and collaborative coaching network.

Thanks also to the South East Regional Management Committee for its hard work and preparation in bringing the conference to life, as well as to the South and East Regional Management Committees for their continued support and contributions."
