WNBL D1 Preview (22/23 Nov 2025) - Live Stats, streaming, schedule and more

There's a top-four battle as Manchester entertain Ipswich, and a pair of four-win sides, Anglia Ruskin and London Cavaliers, are also going head-to-head in Cambridge.

There's also four all-D1W contests in Sunday's National Cup fixtures, with eight sides being narrowed down to a final four ahead of next month's semi-finals.

Less is more?

There are only three D1W games this weekend, but they should provide plenty for fans to enjoy.

Four of the six teams in action take up second through fifth in the standings, providing a real test for all concerned.

Manchester are 5-1, but their lone loss was against CoLA. Is that a level of play that Ipswich can match this weekend to test the Mystics once again? D1W's leading scorer Harriet Welham (29.5PPG) will certainly hope so.

ARU's Tia Freeman sits third in the scoring charts (20.1PPG), but it was team-mate Faye Parker that grabbed Player of the Week honours last time out. 

That makes Ruskin's clash with 4-2 London Cavaliers an interesting one, with the Cavs sending Janice Monakana to the most recent Team of the Week as well.

Leaders CoLA head to one win Bromsgrove for what should be a more straightforward affair, but stranger things have happened. That said, with no Cup game after their earlier round loss to the Cavs, Pride can put 100% of their focus into Saturday's clash with the Bears.

That should be enough to claim a win and stay ahead of the chasing pack, but there are no givens in what has become one of the most competitive D1W campaigns in recent years.

WNBL National Cup

Eight becomes four on Sunday as a quartet of quarter-finals get underway in the WNBL National Cup.

Bromsgrove have had little to cheer about in the league so far but can continue their progress in the cup if they can dispatch Manchester Mystics.

Loughborough are another side that have laboured through their D1W schedule to date, but a win against Bristol would no doubt lift the Riders' spirits significantly.

Brent Bulls have an all-London clash with the All Stars, whilst London Cavaliers and Anglia Ruskin flip their league game from Saturday and play the other half of a double-header against each other for a spot in the next round.
