WNBL D1 Recap (14/15 Feb 2026) - results, stats, streams and more

The Cavs win over Anglia Ruskin was a big one, not just for the leaders but across the top four race, as was Ipswich's victory over Manchester.

Loughborough put their relegation threat behind them, for now at least, to vault into the playoff spots, sending London All Stars into the bottom two in the process.

Standout performances

CoLA won all four quarters to keep the pressure on London Cavs, but their 78-50 win over Bromsgrove could only do so much after the Cavs saw off a short-handed ARU 70-54 thanks to a 43-27 second half that included a 14-5 third frame.

Manchester's recent slide continues after they went down 76-41 against Ipswich, with the Suffolk side continuing to harbour top two hopes.

Loughborough erased some of their relegation worries and passed them onto London All Stars after beating them 81-70. The Riders nearly made it two in two, but would come up just short, 81-78, against Brent on Sunday.

That just left Worcester to get the better of Bristol, coming out on top 72-48 as both teams continue to trend in opposite directions.

What does it mean for the standings? 

London Cavaliers remain D1W's front-runners, but that advantage won't begin to show in the standings until they work through some of their games in hand.

Given their remaining fixtures, CoLA, Manchester, Anglia Ruskin and Ipswich can all finish anywhere inside the top five, but only the top four are guaranteed a home game in the opening round of the playoffs. CoLA will still be keeping their title hopes alive, especially since they play the Cavs next weekend.

Bromsgrove, London All Stars and Bristol look to be battling over the bottom two potential relegation spots now that Loughborough have begun to pull away.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Chloe Vella's return from long-term injury was a boost for CoLA as she enjoyed a tidy 10-point, seven-rebound outing against Bromsgrove, with fellow forward Eva-Grace Yebila producing a similar 10/8 display.

Ipswich's Holly Ensoll (11pts, 20reb) was busy on the glass alongside 21 points from Ashleigh Pink, Mrashi Karumba- Roberts (23pts, 7reb) paced the Cavs past ARU, and Louisa Gibbins (16pts, 11reb, 5ast, 5stl) was the standout in Loughborough's late-season revival against the All Stars.

Eri Bukoye (30pts, 17reb) went off on Bristol for the Wolves, putting D1W on notice as regular standout Ciani Montgomery (11pts, 11reb, 11ast) was instead on triple-double duty.
