Wins for ARU, Ipswich and London Cavaliers keep them in the hunt, with all three continuing to chase Manchester after their latest victory this weekend.

Standout performances

CoLA put together a trademark defensive performance to hold Brent to single digits in both the second and third quarters, eventually running out as 68-44 winners.

Manchester Mystics continue to apply the pressure in second spot, they picked up a narrow win against Loughborough, 72-69, to keep the Riders on the foot of the D1W table.

Ipswich and Anglia Ruskin remain in the title hunt as both teams picked up valuable wins, with the Suffolk side knocking off Bromsgrove 82-58 and ARU getting the better of top-four rivals Worcester 72-60.

That just left London Cavaliers to grab some bragging rights against London All Stars, using a 22-11 opening frame to lead a 78-60 victory from tip to buzzer.

What does it mean for the standings? 

CoLA remain as leaders but plenty of other sides will fancy their chances of a shot at top spot if they can win their games in hand.

Four sides, Manchester, Ipswich, Anglia Ruskin and London Cavaliers, all sit within four points of Pride, and the Mystics remain the only D1W team with just one loss to their name so far.

Another defeat for both Loughborough and Bromsgrove is bad news at the bottom, with London All Stars and Bristol also being dragged down into that mix with four losses.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Anglia Ruskin's Faye Parker (22pts, 12reb) was a standout in ARU's win over Worcester, with Wolves' star Ciani Montgomery (21pts, 5reb, 6stl) being slowed from her recent form despite putting up some solid numbers.

Harriet Welham (31pts, 8reb) made short work of Bromsgrove, with Ipswich team-mates Olivia Partridge (16pts, 10reb, 7ast) and Holly Ensoll (13pts, 10reb, 6blk) also impressing.

CoLA's Adaora Dioramma (10pts, 14reb) enjoyed a double-double against Brent, with the Cavs' Janice Monakana (25pts, 10reb) doing the same against the All Stars.

Chloe Andrew (18pts, 3reb, 2stl) top scored for Manchester off the Mystics' bench, cancelling out a strong showing from Loughborough's Louisa Gibbins (19pts, 4reb, 4ast, 3stl, 2blk)
