WNBL D1 Recap (29/30 Nov 2025) - results, stats, streams and more

Manchester's win over ARU takes them into a share of top spot, while wins for Ipswich, Worcester and London Cavaliers keeps all three in the hunt close behind.

Loughborough's victory over Bristol lifts the Riders off the foot of the table, with Bromsgrove taking their place as a result.

Standout performances

A 20-minute cameo off the bench from Alexandra Hernandez helped Manchester to their fifth win in a row, downing Anglia Ruskin 67-59 in the process.

Loughborough are off and running for the season, finally putting a mark in the win column at the seventh attempt as they beat Bristol 75-64.

Twenty points apiece from Harriet Welham and Hailey Counsell pushed Ipswich to a road win against London All Stars, coming through as 76-61 winners despite 24 points from Kat Goldsby.

Another standout performance from Worcester's Ciani Montgomery was too much for Bromsgrove to handle, with the Bears slipping to a 82-58 defeat after being outscored by the Wolves across the final three quarters of play.

London Cavaliers produced an equally dominant display in Sunday's only game, knocking off Brent Bulls 82-59 despite scoring just six points in the third quarter.

What does it mean for the standings? 

With CoLA not in action, Manchester's victory in Cambridge sees the Mystics move level with Pride at the top on 14 points.

London Cavaliers and Ipswich make up the top four, with Anglia Ruskin's fifth loss of the season taking them further away from that discussion for the time being.

Worcester latest success means the Wolves remain on two defeats as they work through their games in hand, whilst Loughborough's maiden victory provides the Riders with some momentum to build on as they plot a path out of the bottom two.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Twenty one points from Manchester's Alexandra Hernandez and 19 more from Kizzy Spence puts two Mystics in the picture for weekly honours, whilst 19 points for Loughborough's Caitlin Ryan (feature image) cancelled out a 12-point, 16-rebound double-double from Bristol's Veronica Iweanya.

All five of Ipswich's starters played well, led by Harriet Welham's 20/6/8 effort, meaning Kat Goldsby's 24-point, 8-rebound effort for London All Stars would be in vain.

No player could top Ciani Montgomery's 34 points from Worcester against Bromsgrove, though Cavs' Chinwe Iwunze (31pts, 7reb) did come close, supported by team-mates Mrashi Karumba-Roberts (16pt, 13reb) and Helene Trailin (11pts, 16reb).
