Officiating Camps

Basketball England is committed to providing development opportunities for officials from grassroots level through to the elite game.

A range of basketball camps in England and overseas have been identified as an ideal platform to support this objective, offering officials the opportunity to develop their skills and progress through the Officiating Pathway.

Each camp has been designed to support specific development objectives and provide learning opportunities for officials at different stages of the pathway.

If you are looking to progress your officiating career, move through the pathway, or receive feedback to help maintain and improve your current standard, we encourage you to book onto one or more of the camps listed below.

Basketball England recognises that different competitions require different officiating philosophies and approaches. With this in mind, each camp has been tailored towards officials operating at particular levels of the game, ensuring the learning environment is relevant to their current stage of development.

As part of ongoing development, we are working towards all officials attending at least one camp each year. Officials currently active within the NBL are recommended to attend one of the camps as part of their continued development.
