Glasgow 2026 3x3 qualification tournament: Scores, streams, stats, rosters and more
Team England must navigate a hard-fought 3x3 qualification tournament before they can punch their tickets to Glasgow this summer.
Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre hosts the Glasgow 2026 Home Nations 3x3 Basketball Qualification Event on on Friday and Saturday 22/23 May.
The tournament sees England, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Wales battle it out to secure a spot in the men’s and women’s competitions at this year’s Games, with Team England looking to take their first steps to defending their gold and silver medals from Birmingham 2022.
All rosters have now been confirmed as the four nations prepare to see who comes out on top by Saturday night to claim the spot in Glasgow.

Team England
Following this week's three-day preparation camp from 19-21 May, England 3x3 head coaches Julius Joseph MBE and Sarah Hopkins-Chery have whittled down their long lists to a quartet for both the men's and women's competitions.
Both squads contained a wealth of experience and skill, providing both coaches with a stiff test to narrow down the field to just eight names.
For the women, 2026 silver medalists Shanice Beckford-Norton and Cheridene Green both make the cut, looking to advance from their silver medal to a gold from four years ago.
The duo are joined by two new faces in the form of Nina Rickards and Georgia Gayle.
Rickards has EuroCup experience across the last two seasons alongside 5v5 calls for the senior GB side during the recent EuroBasket Qualifier window, following a standout collegiate career with Florida and University of Louisville.
Gayle helped steer her side, B. Braun Sheffield Hatters, to an incredible domestic quadruple in 2025/26, earning plaudits across the game. Gayle follows in the footsteps of another Hatter, Katie Crowley, who featured in the 2006 Games in Melbourne, and collected a bronze medal.
On the men's side, Jamell Anderson is back for more after a gold in Birmingham and is the only holdover from the quarter that snagged Commonwealth glory four years ago.
Anderson's London 3x3 team mate Ashley Hamilton also earns the nod from coach Julius Joseph as the highest-ranked GB player in the FIBA 3x3 rankings (#107).
The duo have built some excellent chemistry since London's transition to an all-British line up this past February, with recent 3x3 stops in the likes of Shibuya, Toronto and Manila as part of the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit.
Kavell Bigby-Williams (Al Markaziyyah) and Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye (Njarðvík) nail down the other two spots, with both players enjoying GB 5v5 calls as recently as 2023.
"D-Lo" enjoyed a stunning 50-point outing for his domestic side Njarðvík in Iceland's Premier League a few months ago, whilst Bigby-Williams is building on a collegiate career that included stops with Oregon and LSU, plus G-League stints as well.
The challengers
Each of Team England's opponents will present a unique challenge, with some familiar faces and plenty of talent on show across the trio of contenders.
Wales
Wales continues to build their 3x3 identity, with the Basketball Wales 3x3 Summer Tour now moving into its fifth year after beginning in 2021.
The Red Dragons will lean on Tia Freeman, who has been in the mix for the main GB 3x3 team in the past, and guided Anglia Ruskin University to their first D1W playoff title since 2018/19 last month. Alongside her will be Brent's WNBL D1 sharpshooter Eleanor Bishop, who has plenty of 3x3 experience of her own as a former Ball Out winner
Isobel Bunyan is making a name for herself in the USA for Montana State University after impressive in the then WBBL for Cardiff as a teenager, and 6'3" Carys Roy was a 2022 GB U18 selection as she currently stars for Saint Peter's University in New Jersey.
On the men's side, James Dawe can call upon Gloucester City's Rhys Farrell, who recently played at NBPC in the NBL Division Two Playoff Final for the Kings, hitting 5/8 3PTs as part of a 28-point outing.
Guard Alex Koukouravas has SLB experience with Surrey, Jake Kinder spent 2024/25 with the Solent Kestrels before moving to NBL Division Three Pool F winners Exeter Spartans this past campaign, and Johnny Mckew most recently spent time with Essex Rebels and Endeavour Ipswich Basketball.
Northern Ireland
The Northern Irish contingent have plenty of similarities binding their units on both the men's and women's sides.
Lucien Christofis (Akranes, Iceland) and Max Richardson (Belfast Star, Ireland) both played for Loughborough in 2016/17, leading the Riders to a NBL Division One regular-season title, whilst Callum Keys played for the Midlands side in the BCB during 2025/26 after an NBL stint with Leicester Warriors.
Richardson is a man with previous GB 3x3 experience, and he'll join up with Belfast team mate Conor Quinn, with the point guard also enjoying national team experience in the 5v5 world.
Enya and Erin Maguire both feature for the women's side, with the sisters previously enjoying NCAA D1 stints in the US as they form a key duo for NI.
Erin and team mate Abi Rafferty are U23 3x3 graduates along with Ella O’Donnell, with the team's core having played together for a significant period of time to hone their skills.
Isle of Man
Viktor Capkanovski is the experienced lynchpin of the IoM Men's team. The North Macedonia-born player was part of the Wolves team which finished second in the island's senior league and is a threat from outside the arc.
He's backed up by Jack Wilkinson, Ross Wilson and Chris Wolfendale.
Becky Dunne, Mairi Harrison, Zoe Kirkham and Danielle Murphy make up the women's team.
