Great Britain Men's 12-player squad for decisive FIBA World Cup Qualifier against Iceland

Following Thursday's contest in Lithuania, GB return to home soil knowing victory over Iceland will secure progression to the next round for only the second time in programme history.

After missing the opening game of the window to attend the birth of his child, Steutel returns to the sideline for one of the most significant fixtures of his tenure as Head Coach.

With preparations complete and the opportunity to advance firmly in the team's hands, he says the group is excited to perform in front of a home crowd.

"This is exactly the type of game you want to be involved in," said Steutel.

"We've worked incredibly hard throughout this campaign to give ourselves the opportunity to advance to the next stage of qualification, and now it's about embracing that challenge together as we go into our final home game.

"The players have shown tremendous commitment throughout this window. [Assistant coach] Alberto Lorenzo, the rest of the staff and the group did an outstanding job during camp and in Lithuania, and I've been incredibly proud of the professionalism everyone has shown.

"We know Iceland will provide a very tough test, but we've got great belief in this group. Playing at home in front of our supporters gives us another lift and we're looking forward to putting in a performance that everybody associated with Great Britain Basketball can be proud of."

The squad once again blends experienced internationals with exciting young talent, including senior debutants Flynn Boardman-Raffet and Sean Trumper, the latter of whom will make his competitive debut for GB on Sunday afternoon in Manchester, with FBR having made his competitive bow on Thursday in Klaipeda.
