NBL D1 Recap (7/8 Feb 2026) - results, stats, streams and more

Worcester moved to the top of Pool A following a success over Liverpool plus BCU's loss to Manchester, and a pair of wins for Barnet elevated the Bulldogs to top spot in Pool B.

In the list below, a * is for Pool A games, and a + is for Pool B games.

Standout performances

The weekend's big winners were Manchester and Barnet as both teams pulled off a pair of wins to boost their late-season momentum.

Manchester knocked off Birmingham City University 77-69 on the road, BCU's second loss in a row, to create a four-way jam of five-loss teams.

St Helens are out of that mix after they lost to Magic 80-56 on Sunday, whilst Worcester went clear at the top with a 70-63 win over Liverpool.

Barnet had to work hard to edge London Lions II 73-70 on Sunday, with that nail-biter following a more straightforward 84-69 W against Cobham 24 hours earlier.

Solent kept the pressure on the Bulldogs with a routine 93-45 win against Richmond, but the game of the week may have been back in Pool A as Sheffield Arrows edged out St Helens 86-84 on Saturday evening.

What does it mean for the standings? 

With four games to go, Worcester are in pole position to take Pool A as they now sit two points ahead of their nearest rivals.

The race for playoff places continues to be as tight as ever, with as many as six teams behind the Wolves all in with a shout of the three remaining spots.

Teesside's case for playing an ineligible player in three January 2026 fixtures has now been concluded, with all three games being ruled at 20-0 forfeits as per NBL regulation 17.10.12.

That leaves the Lions and Oxford in Pool A's bottom two, with the likes of Cardiff and Leicester trying to keep themselves from being pulled back into the mix.

Pool B remains as tight as ever, with Barnet, Barking and Solent all split by just two points.

London Stars could still join that trio from fourth, especially given then crunch clash with the Kestrels next weekend.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Wilfrid Santhe (16pts, 9reb, 9ast) was close to a triple-double as he helped Worcester past Liverpool, and Sable Cooper (25pts, 8reb, 4ast) was once again the standout for Barnet in their Saturday win over Cobham.

Daniel Davies (15pts, 15reb) was the man of the moment in Manchester's road win against BCU, countering Sam Toluwase's 33 points, Junior Sanchez (21pts, 8reb) and Zach Trezvant (12pts, 13reb, 4stl) combined for Myerscough to down Teesside, with Nojus Zajankauskas (26pts, 5reb) and Ryan Martin (18pts, 20reb, 7ast) doing the same to help London Stars past CoLA.

A Macaulay Jones (17pts, 10reb, 7stl) double-double eased Cardiff past Oxford, Hamza Ibrahim (31pts, 18reb, 5ast) and Diogo Soares (13pts, 12reb, 8ast, 5stl, 3blk) both went big for Arrows against St Helens, and Jaguar Jackson (30pts, 8ast) pushed Leicester to an important win in South Yorkshire against the Sharks.

That just left Manchester's Aaron Bile (29pts, 8reb) to star in one of the two Sunday games as Magic topped St Helens, with Sable Cooper (23pts, 7reb, 4ast, 5stl) once again putting on a show for Barnet in their second win in as many days.
