NBL/WNBL Players of the Week - (14/15 Feb 2026)

How it works

Each week, a standout player plus four other worthy selections will be put forward to make the Player and Team Of The Week in both D1M and D1W, paying attention to the following criteria:

• Efficiency
• Stats
• Team and opposition strength
• Periods of influence in the game
• Being on a winning team (exceptional performances from players on losing teams will be considered for TOTW)

Players of the Week

Louisa Gibbins goes back-to-back and Aaron Bile produced not one but two solid performances for Manchester to seal the latest batch of Player of the Week awards.

Manchester moved into the Pool A title race with a pair of wins this past weekend, started with a statement 80-57 victory over former leaders Worcester Wolves.

Bile produced a game-high 28 points alongside seven boards and five assists, going a reliable 7/8 from the line to punish a team-high five fouls against.

Eight points, an assist and a steal all came in the host's 24-4 final quarter, with Bile also putting up 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals in his side's equally important 87-78 victory over Sheffield Arrows on Sunday.

Gibbins' continues to pull Loughborough out of trouble in D1W, with the Riders now up into the playoff spots following their 81-70 win over London All Stars.

Gibbins' production was once again off the charts, hitting 16 points on 75% shooting (6/8 FGs) to go with 11 rebounds, five assists and five steals, with all four stats being team-highs. Her 75% shooting was also a game-high across all players who took more than one shot.

With the Riders looking set to end the season scrapping near the bottom of the D1W pile, Gibbins has changed her side's fortunes in recent weeks and is heating up at just the right time.

POTW Bile is joined by team mate Jack Walton after the Manchester guard poured in 35 points in Magic's cross-Pennines battle with Sheffield Arrows, hitting six triples as part of a match-winning performance.

BCU's Reiss Faure-Daley stuffed the stat sheet against Oxford, draining six three-pointers alongside plenty of production elsewhere for one of the performances of the weekend.

In Pool B's top four battle, London Stars couldn't keep up with Andre Arissol's Solent as the former D1M Defensive Player of the Year enjoyed himself at both ends of the court with 28 points and six steals.

Sheffield Arrows split their double-header weekend after a win in Leicester but a loss in Manchester, though Hamza Ibrahim was his usual impressive self across both contests. Notching 51 points and 24 rebounds across the weekend, his level of play continues to be one of the top storylines of the 2025/26 season.

Gibbins anchors the TOTW alongside a pair of Worcester standouts who both put up big numbers against Bristol. 

Nobody could top Eri Bukoye's 30 points this weekend, adding 17 rebounds to for a mighty double-double, with team mate Ciani Montgomery adding an impressive triple-double in support.

Forward Mrashi Karumba-Roberts helped lead the way for London Cavaliers, supplying a game-high 23 points to keep the Cavs' title bid on track, and Holly Ensoll continued her ascent to becoming one of D1W's leading forwards with another dominant display for Ipswich against top-four rivals Manchester.
