Big wins for Ipswich, ARU, London Cavaliers, Brent, London All Stars and Bromsgrove have done plenty to shake up the standings, with a three-way tie for top spot.

Standout performances

Ipswich shocked long-standing rivals CoLA with a 59-52 home win, fighting off a late comeback attempt to get themselves firmly back into the title fight.

With both teams missing key players, CoLA couldn't overcome shooting 28% from the field despite winning the rebound battle 63-41.

London All Stars were also on upset duty, heading to previously 7-1 Manchester and returning South with a 57-56 victory.

Leading from tip to late in the fourth, the visitors had to weather a late Mystics' charge but got the job done in the end to move back into playoff contention. 

Brent also edged a close one, using a 25-14 opening frame to see off in-form Worcester Wolves 70-69, with Bromsgrove picking up their second win of the year as they beat Bristol 60-49 in Sunday's only game.

It was a weekend to forget for the Flyers as they also fell 88-67 against London Cavaliers on Saturday, just leaving Anglia Ruskin to inflict a 71-56 defeat on Loughborough as the Riders remain at the foot of the table.

What does it mean for the standings? 

After plenty of ups and downs across the weekend, CoLA, Manchester and London Cavaliers all now sit on 14 points, with the Mystics and Cavs suffering two losses compared to Pride's three.

Ipswich stay ahead of ARU in the battle over fourth spot, with Worcester closely behind as they aim to make up their games in hand.

Player-of-the-week candidates 

Sixteen points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks from Ipswich forward Holly Ensoll helped the Suffolk side see off CoLA, who got 16 points and nine boards from Debra Wilson-Osuide.

ARU's win over Loughborough was spearheaded by a 28-point, 10-rebound double-double from Abby Conlee, while Janice Monakana scored 28 points off the Cavs bench to compliment a 21-point, seven-assist effort from team mate Chinwe Iwunze.

Worcester's Ciani Montgomery dropped 33 points but the Wolves couldn't overcome Brent's balanced attack, with five players scoring nine or more, led by 16 points and seven assists from Fannie Serrano.

Ezekiela Oyeyemi's 11-point, 14-rebound effort was the standout stat line from the All Stars win in Manchester, and Rebecca Brindley's game-high 22 points helped Bromsgrove past Bristol on Sunday.
