Basketball England Supporter Membership available now

The new membership is available for all affiliated clubs across England to offer to their fans and followers, enabling clubs to expand and fans to further their support, while at the same time support the growth of the game. 

The new Supporter Membership, powered by PlayHQ, includes several benefits delivered by Basketball England, with clubs able to include their own benefits in addition. Alongside supporting clubs across the country, a portion of each membership supports the work of Basketball England and covers the cost of the benefits included.

Benefits of the new membership provided by Basketball England are detailed below, alongside our existing Performance (National League) and Participant (Local League) memberships for those active on court for comparison. 

• Performance membership- For all National Basketball League players, coaches and officials
• Participant membership – For all local league players, coaches and officials
• Supporter membership – For club, league and association fans, followers parents and supporters 

*Additional club benefits vary for each club. 

As club benefits can vary club-to-club the price for membership is also variable from between clubs. 

For those without a club affinity in England or those who simply wish to support the England National Teams and Basketball England, individuals can join as a supporter of Basketball England through the link below to gain access to the above benefits. Membership is £15 for under-18s and £20 for adults.

All supporter membership run from 1 July until the end of the following June. 

Marc Dring, Head of Digital and Growth at Basketball England, said:

We are equally pleased that through our partnership with PlayHQ, we can deliver this in a way that enables clubs across the country to grow their membership and generate funds into basketball at every level."

Clubs wishing to offer Supporter Membership can do so through PlayHQ straight away, through their existing registration links for this season. Among the options when someone registers (player, coach etc), supporter has been added.
