Project Manager – BBL Supports: Officials

The British Basketball League is recruiting a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of the BBL’s strategic plan which identifies developing the officials that operate in the BBL/WBBL to a world-class standard as an objective. This role and its responsibilities is newly created and represents a significant opportunity for the right individual to make a positive impact on the BBL/WBBL.

Events/Telemarketing Officer - British Basketball League

The British Basketball League is recruiting an Events/Telemarketing Officer.

The aim of the role is to maximise the sales and profitability of BBL events by assisting in the selling of tickets predominantly to the groups market, producing high quality leads and working as a team towards agreed set targets and goals. To provide a high level of sales service by ensuring all calls are handled in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

Job vacancies at the Nottingham Wildcats Arena

As part of a re-structuring programme, the Nottingham Wildcats Arena has two vacant full time Assistant Managers posts.

Annual salary £20,000.00.

These posts will provide an opportunity to join the team at Nottingham's premier Basketball Arena with three international size basketball courts, fitness suite, large dance studio and a strength and conditioning suite. Applicants must be prepared to work evenings and weekends.

Sheffield Hatters Operations Co-ordinator

The Sheffield Hatters, through the Kickstart programme, have a part-time position to offer of 25 hours per week for 6 months.

This will involve working as assistant to the WBBL Head Coach in the administration and coordination of the team programme to include; Liaising with team members, assisting with arrangements for home match promotions and the organisation of away games, dealing with visa applications and letters of clearance, communication with the National Governing Body, researching and booking flights for overseas players, overseeing accommodation needs and responsibilities of the players and any other duties as may arise to help ensure the smooth running of the programme.

Applicants must be between 18 and 24, receiving Universal Credit and not in education and if successful will be paid the National Living wage according to their age.
