WEABL

The WEABL (Women's Elite Academy Basketball League) is a junior basketball competition in England, featuring the top Under 19 programmes in the country.

To accompany the elite development of DiSE (formerly AASE) athletes, an elite schools & colleges competition was developed and launched in September 2015.

In partnership with AoC Sport and Basketball England, the WEABL (formerly the Under 19 Women’s Premier Schools competition) offers the highest level of School/College competition in the country.

This weekly competition underpins the developmental needs of potential elite athletes by giving them the opportunity to test their skills at the highest level possible during the academic calendar.

The WEABL is made up of Category 1 DiSE Institutions, split into two conferences, North and South.
